How to find the right manufacturer in China

Start with a measurable product brief, search across several channels, then verify the company, production capability, quotation and sample before discussing a production order. A low price alone does not prove that a supplier is a verified and suitable production partner.

Write a sourcing brief that factories can quote
Define materials, dimensions, tolerances, packaging, certifications, target market, estimated volume and expected Incoterm. Separate requirements from preferences. This prevents suppliers from quoting different products under the same name.
- Use photos only as a starting reference, not as the full specification.
- State the target market because compliance and labeling requirements vary.
