What logistics services do you offer from China?
We coordinate receiving, storage, consolidation, order preparation, and international transport by air, sea, or rail, depending on available routes. The solution depends on the goods, volume, destination, budget, and timeframe.
How to choose between air, sea and rail freight?
Air freight is generally suitable for urgent or small-volume shipments, while sea freight is often better suited to larger volumes. Rail freight can be an intermediate solution for certain destinations; we compare cost, delivery time, and actual constraints.
What is the difference between FCL, LCL and groupage?
A full container load (FCL) is a container reserved for a single shipper. Less than container load (LCL), or groupage shipping, shares the container between several shippers; it may be suitable for smaller volumes, but consolidation costs and delays must be considered.
What is an expedition DDP?
In DDP, the seller or designated operator arranges delivery to the agreed location within a defined customs perimeter. It is essential to verify precisely what is included: duties, taxes, formalities, final delivery, and any exclusions.
How do you calculate the taxable or volumetric weight?
The carrier typically compares the actual weight to the volumetric weight calculated from the dimensions. The taxable weight used is often the higher of the two; the formula varies depending on the mode of transport and the route used.
Can you group multiple suppliers into a single shipment?
Yes. We can receive multiple orders in China, identify them, verify the necessary information, and then consolidate them. Grouping reduces the number of shipments, but must be considered in light of volumes, delivery times, and product compatibility.
Do you offer warehousing and fulfillment services in China?
Yes. We can arrange storage, pick and pack, packaging, certain branding options, and delivery to the carrier. Pricing depends on the number of SKUs, volume, storage duration, and order frequency.
Can you ship batteries, liquids, or regulated products?
Some goods require a special lane, specific documentation, or compliant packaging, and others may be refused. The exact nature of the product, its composition, and technical specifications must be verified before any transport confirmation.
What compensation is provided if a package is lost?
In the event of a confirmed loss during a covered shipment, the maximum compensation is 40,900,002 per permissible kilogram. No reimbursement is provided in the event of theft or customs seizure. Supporting documentation, the weight limit, and other applicable conditions are specified before shipment.
How do you estimate transport and customs fees separately?
Our China import calculator provides an estimate of the shipping cost, a separate estimate of customs duties and taxes, and then the total import cost. The result is indicative only: the destination, customs code, declared value, weight, volume, and nature of the product must be confirmed to obtain a quote.
What information is needed to obtain a logistics quote?
