AQL is a method, not a quality promise
If AQL sampling is used, the level and limits must be chosen for the product. A sampled inspection does not mean every unit was checked.
Laboratory testing may still be required
Visual and functional inspection cannot replace accredited testing or certification required by the destination market.
Inspection needs enough finished goods
A pre-shipment inspection is useful only when the agreed proportion of goods is complete and packed for representative checking.
